I'd briefly mentioned the Tangle Teaser in a favourites post but I thought I would do a full post on it. I had heard a lot of things about how good the Tangle Teasers were but always thought "how good could it actually be?" As it turns out, very. I was in Boots when I saw it and after all the good things I had heard I thought I would just try it out. I had always thought it was a bit pricey for what it was, it retails for £10.99 but I headed to the till and purchased. I am absolutely in love with this! Although I never thought my hair was that knotty or tangly, this comes in so useful, especially after I have washed and towel dried my hair, it can be quite knotty and now that I'm growing it out and it's getting a lot longer. The great thing about the Tangle Teaser is that you can use it on wet hair, I used to avoid bruising or combing my hair when it was wet as whenever I did, it would cause a lot of breakage, however this just made it even more knotty. On wet or dry hair this is so gentle and even when I have a huge knot, it doesn't tug or cause any pain, I always found that when I brushed my hair when it was dry, it would go so frizzy but this brush totally gets rid of that and just smooths out the hair perfectly! I think this is perfect if you have children, whenever I was a child I would complain so much when having my hair brushed as it was so painful. My 22 month old niece absolutely loves it and always picks it up when she's in my room and insists on brushing her hair! It comes in a few different colours, patterns and there is even a "Magic Flowerpot" version!
Have you tried the Tangle Teaser?
I absolutely love my Tangle Teezer, I'm in need of a new one as my bristles have gotten all bent but like you said it is pricey. Can't imagine using anything else now though! x
