Ingredients
4oz Caster Sugar
3oz Butter
8oz Plain Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
3 Bananas
Handful of chopped Hazelnuts
Nutella
Whenever we have an abundance of bananas in the house, I always make banana bread. This time, I decided to add hazelnuts and a little bit of nutella to make something slightly different but still absolutely delicious! First, start by preheating the oven to 180C and line a loaf tin. Then place the butter and sugar in a bowl and cream together, next add in the beaten egg, flour and baking power. Combine these ingredients together into a dry mixture and set aside. In a separate bowl, mash the bananas to a pulp and then add to the dry ingredients, along with the chopped hazelnuts. Pour the mixture into the loaf tin and then swirl in Nutella onto the top of the mixture. Place in the oven for 50-55 minutes until golden brown. If you're feeling indulgent, you can also put more nutella on once you slice your loaf!
Let me know if you do try this recipe, it tastes amazing!
