I've had a *few* spending splurges recently and have therefore acquired some new favourite products. Perfumes are one of the items I love to purchase and I own a fair few, I was trying to use my old ones up before I buy any new ones but I tested the Tom Ford Noir Extreme perfume and fell in love instantly. This is a perfume that could be unisex and is a deeper, more masculine scent which I like to use on days where I don't want really floral and girly scents. It has top notes of Mandarin, Neroli, Saffron, Nutmeg and Cardamon while the base notes are more earthy and consist of Amber, Sandalwood and Vanilla. I bought the travel size so I could try it out but I think I definitely would invest in the full size version. For my brows, I've been testing a few different products but I decided to pick up the Estee Lauder MicroPrecise Brow Pencil and I've been obsessed with it. I love how precise and small the nib is, it is perfect for creating lines that resemble real brow hairs, it also comes with a spoolie on one end too which is really handy! I find you can create dramatic brows that make a statement but you can also just add a little bit of definition to the brow for a natural look if that's what you prefer.
When I was about 17, I was obsessed with Mac lipsticks. I collected so many of them and owned about 30 different shades of nude. Recently I've purchased quite a few more and of course, most of them are nude shades. Shrimpton and Honeylove have been my go to shades that I've been keeping in my handbag for everyday wearing. They're slightly peachy nudes which suit my complexion and colouring and I feel like they'd both suit an array of different skin tones. I can't wear really light nude shades anymore as they just make me look washed out so these are a great nude lip alternative. I wear eyeliner everyday, either liquid liner or gel liner as it makes my eyelashes look so much thicker and I use winged eyeliner if I want to instantly look more put together. I decided to try out the Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner as I'd heard so many great things about it and it definitely lives up to the hype. The consistency is really soft and creamy which I find super easy to apply with an angled makeup brush, I also find it works really well for winged eyeliner which can usually be quite tricky to apply with gel liner however with this, it's a dream.
My final current favourite is the Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara. I really struggle with mascaras as I have such straight lashes and can never find one that actually makes a difference to them, without making them super clumpy. This wand doesn't hold too much product so my lashes are really separated and lengthened without being clumpy and stuck together, I've been really loving using it. If you like a dramatic mascara that gives a lot of volume, this probably isn't going to be for you. I personally wear false lashes most days so I'm not too bothered about volume but I like it to add some length and curl.
